Christian Praise Song | "All Things Live in the Rules and Laws Set Down by God"

1

It’s been several thousand years,

and mankind still enjoys the light,

and he still enjoys the air bestowed by God.

Mankind still breathes in the breath

that was exhaled by God Himself.

Yes, he still enjoys the air bestowed by God.

Mankind still enjoys the things

like flowers, fish, insects and birds.

The things created by God, he enjoys them all.

Day and night replace each other.

The four seasons cycle around,

they alternate as usual, provided by God.

Every manner of creature living amongst all things,

departs and then returns, and then departs again.

In the twinkling of an eye, a million changes happen.

What will never ever change

are their instincts and their laws of survival.

2

The geese flying in the sky,

they depart in this winter,

and return in the next spring, they still return.

The fish there in the water

never leave their lakes and rivers,

don’t ever leave the water—it is their home.

The cicadas above the ground

sing their hearts out oh so loud.

How they spend their summer days above the ground.

And the crickets in the grass

hum in time to the winds that dance.

It’s an autumn song of grass, all made by God.

Every manner of creature living amongst all things,

departs and then returns, and then departs again.

In the twinkling of an eye, a million changes happen.

What will never ever change

are their instincts and their laws of survival.

3

The geese gather into flocks,

the eagles remain alone.

The prides of lions will hunt,

hunting to sustain themselves.

And the elk don’t stray too far

from the grass and the flowers.

Every manner of creature living amongst all things,

departs and then returns, and then departs again.

In the twinkling of an eye, a million changes happen.

What will never ever change

are their instincts and their laws of survival.

They are provided for by God,

and their lives are nourished by God.

And no one may change their instincts,

nor can anyone impair these creatures’ rules of survival.
