God’s Love – The Watching

Have you ever heard of such a story?

Once there was a girl who became a lower-class fallen person in the outside world. At first, everything was so fresh to her, yet as the days passed, she felt her life was nothing but seeking pleasure and making merry. Gradually, she began to get homesick. Yet meanwhile, her mother was spending every day waiting for her return. And she had gone out of her way to look for the girl, but to no avail. At last, the mother took a photo of herself, and printed many copies of it. Then she pasted these photos on many pieces of paper, with some words written below: Come home! Mom is waiting for you! Afterward, she had them posted in all hotels and restaurants, big and small. One day, the degenerate girl happened to see the photo of her mother and her words. Not until then was she in for a rude awakening. Then she went back to her mother.

God's love

This brief story enlightens me. Now, we humans are like a daughter who left her mother, drifting in society, rush and busy about for money, fame, fortune and our beloved things. In our heart, we have long cast God to the wind. Physically and mentally exhausted as we are, we are unware that God is our reliance. Today, God has already become flesh and come among man to do the work of judgment of the last days. In God’s heart, He is hoping and waiting, expecting that the mankind He created with His own hands can earlier return to Him to accept His salvation, thus ending their lives of being fallen, and being in pain outside. But how many people can understand God’s motherly heart? And how many people can accept God’s salvation after hearing His call? I often hear some people say, “I am still young, I haven’t had enough fun yet. Wait until I have my fill of fun, I’ll believe in God.” “I’m still young now, and I have my career to think about. Wait until I get old, I’ll believe in God.” “I need to exercise every day, and take care of my children…. I just have no time to believe in God.” All kinds of excuses put us further and further away from God’s salvation, and we become more and more degenerate. We live in a licentious and evil world only concerned with eating, drinking, and pursuing pleasure. Although we always feel weary both in body and heart, still few are willing to accept God’s salvation, and even few of us have any inclination to care where God does His work today, how mankind has developed up till today step by step, and what direction mankind will eventually take if they continue to degenerate. No one cares these issues, but simply indulges in the flesh, being trampled upon by Satan yet oblivious to it.

However, God loves mankind, and regards them as His family. He doesn’t want to see us suffer under the domain of Satan, but rather hopes that man can live under His care and protection. Thus, He pays any price without hesitation to save the corrupt mankind. Just as God said, “The Almighty has mercy on these people who suffer deeply. At the same time, He is fed up with these people who have no consciousness, because He has to wait too long for the answer from humans. He desires to seek, seek your heart and your spirit. He wants to bring you food and water and to awaken you, so you are no longer thirsty, no longer hungry. When you are weary and when you begin to feel the desolation of this world, do not be perplexed, do not cry. Almighty God, the Watcher, will embrace your arrival any time. He is watching by your side, waiting for you to turn back. He is waiting for the day your memory suddenly recovers: becoming conscious of the fact that you came from God, somehow and somewhere once lost, falling unconscious on the roadside…. You further realize that the Almighty has been watching there, awaiting your return all along. He longs bitterly, waiting for a response without an answer. His watching is priceless and is for the heart and the spirit of humans. Perhaps this watching is indefinite, and perhaps this watching is at its end. But you should know exactly where your heart and spirit are now.” “God laments the future of mankind, and grieves the fall of mankind. He feels sorrow for mankind’s slow march toward decline and the path of no return. … This is because only one creation and one salvation are within the plan of God. This is the first time and also the last. Therefore, none can comprehend the kind intention and fervent anticipation of God for mankind’s salvation.” God is calling out to mankind who are slumbering. As we are deeply corrupted by Satan, and become farther and farther from God, we have forgotten that we came from God. Thereafter, we humans begin to worship science and money, and pursue the evil social trends. Nevertheless, God has never forgotten us. He shows concern for us and cherishes us. He doesn’t hope that we only rush around for our flesh and fame, passing the days in empty space. So, God, enduring the suffering of being separated from the Father, personally becomes flesh among man, and expresses the truth to save us. And He is watching by man’s side, waiting for man to turn back to Him. This watching is priceless. It is in the purpose of awakening man, so he can turn back to God, and then return to God’s family.

In the world, if you fail the college entrance examination, you can retake courses. But God’s work of the last days is transient and waits for no one. When the times comes for His work to finish, it will finish without the delay of a minute or second, for God has His management plan. Just as God said, “Perhaps this watching is indefinite, and perhaps this watching is at its end. …” In fact, God grieves those who refuse God’s work with various reasons. Yet in the meantime, He shows concern for and worries about those who are still living under the domain of Satan.

At this very moment, have you heard God’s calls to you? Can you understand God’s anxious heart? And are you willing to return before Him?
