I Joyfully Welcome the Lord’s Return and My Spirit Is Nourished Again

I had served the church for twenty and two years, in charge of its finances and teaching Sunday school. Over the last few years, I felt the pastors always preached on the same old things without a shred of light, which simply couldn’t supply my spiritual needs, so I frequently listened to online sermons of preachers.

In May 2017, I met Sister Jane on Facebook, who’s in France. She bore witness to Almighty God’s work of the last days for me. She told me that the Lord Jesus has returned in the flesh, has concluded the Age of Grace and begun the Age of Kingdom, has expressed all truths to fully save mankind, and is doing the stage of work of judging and purifying mankind. I was thrilled to learn the news of the Lord’s return. Over a time of investigation, I understood many aspects of the truth from Almighty God’s words, such as the way the Lord has returned, God’s name, God’s incarnation, God’s three stages of work, and how God does His work of judgment in the last days. I truly felt that Almighty God’s words are the wellspring of the living waters which flows from God’s throne, and I started getting some spiritual nourishment that I had never received. So, I and my two daughters accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days, one after another, and we began to actively attend online meetings. As I came to understand more truths, I wanted to tell the good news of the Lord’s return to the brothers and sisters from my old church so that they could also come before Almighty God.

At one meeting, a sister said that her religious pastor had used every means to obstruct and threaten her while she was preaching God’s gospel of the last days. Another sister also said that her religious pastors clung stubbornly to the letter of the Scripture and their notions and imaginings and had no interest in investigating the returned Lord’s work, and that not only did they themselves not accept it, but they also disseminated fallacies and rumors, and sealed up the church, causing some brothers and sisters to not dare to investigate. Several other sisters also talked about how they had encountered their pastors’ disturbances and obstructions to varying degrees while looking into Almighty God’s work. When I heard these sisters say that, I felt both amazed and perplexed—I didn’t understand why the pastors as leaders of the churches didn’t lead brothers and sisters to investigate and accept it on hearing the news of the Lord’s return but instead tried to obstruct them.

Then Sister Jane said: “What the sisters said is true. The ‘seven woes’ of the Jewish Pharisees revealed by God two thousand years ago had already exposed the darkness and depravity of religious circles. When the Lord Jesus came in the flesh to carry out His work, the Jewish priests, scribes and Pharisees clung to the literal words of the Scripture, thinking that anyone who wasn’t called Messiah couldn’t be God. They also wildly resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus based on the excuse that His work and words went beyond the Old Testament. To protect their positions and livelihoods, they deceived and intimidated believers and prevented them from following the Lord. In the end, they joined forces with the Roman government to crucify the Lord Jesus, thus aggravating God’s disposition, and Israel then suffered the pain of national subjugation. Now, Almighty God has launched the work of judgment in the last days, and His words have been translated into over twenty languages and published online for people from around the world to seek and investigate. Many with true faith who long for the truth have seen that Almighty God’s words possess authority and power and that they are God’s voice, and they’ve become certain that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus. One by one, they have accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days. However, very few pastors and elders of various denominations have investigated it. Though most of them have read Almighty God’s words, they hardly have any heart to seek but instead try to find faults in God’s words with an attitude of research. They even judge and condemn God’s work based on their notions and imaginings, and not only do they themselves refuse to accept it, but they also disseminate their notions among brothers and sisters. As a result, because of believing in the fallacies of the pastors and elders, many believers are deceived and restrained by them and dare not seek and investigate God’s work of the last days, thereby missing their chance to greet the Lord. From this, we can see the essence of the pastors and elders of various denominations is the same as that of the Pharisees. They are the modern Pharisees who have been exposed by God in the last days.”

I agreed with Sister Jane’s fellowship. Thinking of how many brothers and sisters had lost their chance to investigate the true way and ruined their opportunity for salvation because of being deceived and controlled by the religious pastors, I felt that the pastors were indeed the modern Pharisees. Despite this, I still thought that our church’s pastors were a little better than other religious pastors, for they had been to divinity school, were well-versed in the Bible, appeared to live out a pious life, were quite loving toward brothers and sisters, and always taught us to keep the Lord’s teachings. I thought that once they had read Almighty God’s words, they would be certain to recognize the Lord’s voice and happily welcome the Lord.

One day ten months later, my youngest daughter and I preached Almighty God’s gospel to a sister from my old church, but unexpectedly, Pastor Li, after learning of this, began to disturb me. The pastors’ repeated attempts to disturb and hinder me strongly contradicted my opinion of them and allowed me to see absolutely clearly their true face.

Pastor Li Attempts to Get Me to Give Up the True Way

One day, Pastor Li suddenly called and made an appointment to discuss something with me in the church. I hung up the phone and felt a little puzzled: “Today is not a worship day, so what does Pastor Li want to see me for? Could it be that he has learned of my faith in Almighty God? But it’s good for him to know this and I can take this opportunity to preach the gospel to him. If he accepts God’s work of the last days, he’ll lead the other brothers and sisters to investigate the true way.” Thinking of this, I very calmly went to the church.

On seeing me, Pastor Li began to rebuke me, saying: “Sister Mo, you’ve believed in the Lord for over twenty years and you are also a church deacon, how come you believe in Almighty God? Why didn’t you ask me first? You don’t understand biblical knowledge very well, so you are easily deceived without our protection. Besides, how do you know that Almighty God is the returned Lord?”

Pastor Li’s words made me uncomfortable and I thought: “I’ve believed in the Lord for so many years, and I’m not a person without thoughts even though I don’t have as much knowledge of the Scripture as you. I’m free to investigate the true way, so why do I have to ask you first? It was after three months of seriously investigating that I began to believe in Almighty God. During that time, I read many of Almighty God’s words and understood that Almighty God’s work of judgment in the last days has fulfilled this biblical prophecy: ‘Judgment must begin at the house of God’ (1 Peter 4:17). Almighty God’s words have authority and power, and they not only unveil the mysteries of God’s six-thousand-year management plan to save mankind, but also tell us various other aspects of the truth, such as the significance of God’s name, the mysteries of the incarnation, the inside story on the three stages of work, and so on. They also point out the path to wrest ourselves from Satan’s influence, cleanse our corruption and achieve salvation. The words expressed by Almighty God are rich and bountiful; I determined from His words that He is indeed the returned Lord Jesus, and only then did I accept Almighty God’s work. It seems that only by having Pastor Li listen to Almighty God’s words will he realize that Almighty God is indeed the returned Lord Jesus.” When I thought about this, I said to Pastor Li: “As for whether Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, all you need to do is listen to His words, and then you’ll know. Let’s watch a video of reading of God’s words.”

Then, I opened the app of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) on my phone and played a video of reading of Almighty God’s words. These were the words: “Throughout the universe I am doing My work, and in the East, thunderous crashes issue forth endlessly, shaking all nations and denominations. It is My voice that has led all men into the present. I cause all men to be conquered by My voice, to fall into this stream, and submit before Me, for I have long since reclaimed My glory from all the earth and issued it forth anew in the East. Who does not long to see My glory? Who does not anxiously await My return? Who does not thirst for My reappearance? Who does not pine for My loveliness? Who would not come to the light? Who would not look upon the richness of Canaan? Who does not long for the return of the Redeemer? Who does not adore Him who is great in power? My voice shall spread throughout the earth; I will face My chosen people and speak more words to them. Like the mighty thunders that shake the mountains and rivers, I speak My words to the whole universe and to mankind. Hence the words in My mouth have become man’s treasure, and all men cherish My words. The lightning flashes from the East all the way to the West. My words are such that man is loath to give them up and at the same time finds them unfathomable, but rejoices in them all the more. All men are glad and joyful, celebrating My coming, as if an infant had just been born. By means of My voice, I shall bring all men before Me. Thenceforth, I shall formally enter into the race of men so that they will come to worship Me. With the glory that I radiate and the words in My mouth, I shall make it such that all men come before Me and see that the lightning flashes from the East and that I have also descended unto the ‘Mount of Olives’ of the East. They will see that I have already long been on earth, no longer as the Son of the Jews but as the Lightning of the East. For I have long since been resurrected, and have departed from mankind’s midst, and then reappeared with glory among men. I am He who was worshiped countless ages before now, and I am also the infant forsaken by the Israelites countless ages before now. Moreover, I am the all-glorious Almighty God of the present age! Let all come before My throne and see My glorious countenance, hear My voice, and look upon My deeds. This is the entirety of My will; it is the end and the climax of My plan, as well as the purpose of My management: to have every nation worship Me, every tongue acknowledge Me, every man repose his faith in Me, and every people be subject unto Me!”

Halfway through the video, Pastor Li laughed scornfully and, pointing at The Church of Almighty God App on his phone, he said: “There is no need to let me watch it! I’ve long downloaded The Church of Almighty God App and read Almighty God’s words.”

I was surprised and pleased to see Pastor Li have The Church of Almighty God App on his phone, and I thought to myself: “It turns out that he has known for some time that Almighty God has come to perform His work. I must take this opportunity to do my best to talk with him about Almighty God’s work.”

I therefore said happily: “So you’ve also read Almighty God’s words. His words are authoritative and powerful, so do you feel that they are God’s voice?”

Pastor Li curled up his lips and said: “The Lord’s words are all within the Bible and there are no words of God beyond the Bible. I won’t believe them no matter how much authority Almighty God’s words have.”

This surprised me a great deal, and I retorted: “Pastor Li, are you sure that God’s words are all in the Bible? Don’t you often preach the verse John 21:25: ‘And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.’? During the period the Lord Jesus worked, He spoke many words and did much work, but they are not wholly recorded in the Bible. The Bible is only a very limited account. So the viewpoint ‘God’s words don’t exist outside the Bible’ has no grounding in fact. On top of that, the Lord Jesus prophesied that He would return in the last days, open up the scroll and express more words—they are ‘what the Spirit says to the churches.’ These words could not possibly have been written in the Bible ahead of time and they are new words that God will express outside the Bible. So, we can’t delimit God’s words to the Bible but we should seek to see if Almighty God’s words are God’s voice. Only by knowing the Lord from God’s words and work can we welcome the returned Lord.”

After I had finished, Pastor Li laughed disdainfully again and said nothing. Looking at his look of scorn, I suddenly thought of the Lord Jesus’ words: “Give not that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7:6). With this in mind, I closed the video.

Just then, Pastor Li said in a sarcastic way: “Sister Mo, it seems that you’ve understood quite a bit. No matter what, our belief in the Lord cannot deviate from the Bible. No matter how wonderful Almighty God’s words are, as long as they go beyond the Bible, I won’t acknowledge and accept them. I urge you to stop believing in Almighty God. Otherwise your service in the church will be canceled, and you’ll regret it then.”

I replied: “Haven’t we believed in the Lord with the hope of welcoming His return? Only CAG is now testifying that the Lord has returned, so shouldn’t we really look into it? If we miss the Lord Jesus’ second coming, we will only regret this. Pastor Li, I advise you to diligently investigate Almighty God’s work—”

Before I could finish, Pastor Li said angrily: “Enough! Save your breath. I won’t believe in Almighty God. I’ll give you some time to think about whether to continue to investigate Almighty God’s work of the last days or come back to our church. Then let me know your decision.” With these words, he walked off without looking back.

Seeing Pastor Li’s attitude left me feeling helpless. He often told us that we should be people who humbly seek, because only such people were favored by the Lord. Never had I imagined that faced with the very important matter of the Lord’s return, he would hold on to the Bible and have no shred of a seeking heart even though he had read Almighty God’s words. Apparently, all that he usually said was letters and doctrines and he didn’t have any reality.

Pastor Hong Misinterprets the Bible and Blocks Believers From Studying the True Way

It was a worship day and I went to church. Before we began to worship, Pastor Hong, who had often come to our church to give sermons, came to me and said: “Sister Mo, I’ve heard that you looked into CAG? I’ve understood the church long before—their preaching goes beyond the Bible. Believing in Almighty God is betraying the Lord Jesus. I urge you not to believe anymore, or your years of faith in the Lord will have been in vain.”

I refuted him by saying: “Pastor Hong, have you read Almighty God’s words? The truth expressed by Almighty God is ‘what the Spirit says to the churches’ as prophesied in Revelation. Some parts reveal mysteries; some parts cast judgments on people’s corrupt dispositions; other parts show people the way to be free from sin and other aspects of the truth. Almighty God’s words are abundantly rich. I’ve read Almighty God’s words and can confirm that Almighty God is indeed the returned Lord Jesus. By believing in Almighty God, I’m following the Lord’s footsteps. How could you say I’m betraying the Lord?”

Pastor Hong interrupted me impatiently, “Ok, stop it! In a little while, I’ll speak some harsh words when I give a sermon. If you insist on believing in Almighty God, you have to prepare yourself for that and don’t feel hurt then.” When he finished, he gave a disdainful laugh and went out. His expression left me feeling somewhat afraid and I wondered what he would do.

It was time to worship and before giving a sermon, Pastor Hong played some videos of rumor-mongering to discredit CAG. When I saw the defamation, frame-up, and baseless rumors about CAG, I became angry and thought: “You’ve never had anything to do with CAG and neither have you investigated God’s work of the last days, but you lay false charges against CAG. Isn’t this blaspheming God?” Then, Pastor Hong said gravely: “The Bible says: ‘I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed’ (Galatians 1:6–9). Now we’ve believed in the Lord Jesus, we must hold to His name and keep His way, and we can’t go listen to just any sermon, much less accept any gospel preached by anyone else. In particular, CAG testifies that the Lord Jesus has already returned, but we certainly cannot listen to them, otherwise we would be committing apostasy and be cursed by God. On top of that, those who spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus’ return will suffer even more severe curse. Does everyone understand that? Once we discover someone has accepted Almighty God’s way, we’ll expel them immediately. If someone tries to spread Almighty God’s way to you, you must let us know right away.” When he had finished, Pastor Hong specially looked at me. His triumphant manner reminded me of the Pharisees serving God in the temple who deceived the Jewish believers into rejecting the Lord Jesus.

Having heard Pastor Hong’s words, all the brothers and sisters present suddenly quieted down and wore fear expressions. Seeing that the brothers and sisters were deceived by Pastor Hong, I felt very angry and thought: “Pastor Hong really has gone too far. He actually takes the Bible out of context and misinterprets it to deceive and intimidate the brothers and sisters, and to hinder them from investigating the true way. He knows the Bible well; doesn’t he know that there was a background to what Paul said? At that time, the Lord Jesus’ gospel was spreading like wildfire, and many in Galatia accepted the Lord’s new work and they set up churches. However, the Jewish Pharisees also preached the old work of the Age of Law there, enjoining people to observe the law. The Pharisees not only refused to accept the Lord Jesus’ new work based on the excuse that the Lord Jesus’ gospel spread by the disciples went beyond the Old Testament, but they also tried to disturb those who had accepted the salvation of the Lord Jesus’ cross. Afterward, Paul left the Galatian churches, and the Pharisees took advantage of this opportunity and moved into the Galatian churches to spread rumors that by believing in the Lord Jesus, people wouldn’t be saved and were going against Jehovah’s teachings. In the end, because the Galatians at that time were without discernment, they departed from the Lord Jesus’ gospel and began to follow the Pharisees. Against this background, Paul wrote the epistle to condemn those Galatians tempted by the Pharisees and exhort them to turn around hurriedly. So the ‘following another gospel’ that Paul said meant those people who left the gospel of the Lord Jesus and turned back to believe in the gospel of the Age of Law again, which has nothing to do with God’s gospel of the last days. It has nothing to do with whether or not we now go out to listen to other sermons or seek and investigate God’s work of the last days. However, Pastor Hong applies the ‘another gospel’ mentioned in these verses to Almighty God’s work of the last days—isn’t this misinterpreting the Bible and mixing things up? He not only refuses to seek or investigate the true way, but he also intimidates the brothers and sisters and stops them from examining it. Isn’t this ruining people?” Thinking this, I really wanted to rebut him immediately so that the brothers and sisters would develop their discernment. But then I thought if I did that, my relationship with the pastor would definitely become strained, and that if he openly announced that I’d got expelled, it would not be easy for me to spread God’s gospel of the last days to the brothers and sisters. So I had no other option but to keep silent. At the time, I kept thanking God for His guidance—if the brothers and sisters of CAG hadn’t fellowshiped with me about these verses, I wouldn’t have understood them and would have been deceived by Pastor Hong. It seemed that I must lose no time in preaching the gospel to the brothers and sisters lest they continue to be deceived by the pastors and miss the chance to welcome the Lord’s return.

After that meeting, Pastor Hong once again warned me, saying: “Sister Mo, you’ve heard what I said. I’m warning you, you’re not allowed to preach Almighty God’s gospel to the brothers and sisters in our church. You can preach to the unbelievers if you want.”

After hearing him, I thought to myself: “The brothers and sisters are all God’s sheep. God has returned to call back His sheep. However, Pastor Hong tries to prevent me from spreading the gospel among the brothers and sisters and also deceives them. Isn’t this blocking their path to entering the kingdom of heaven? He is so despicable. When the Lord Jesus cursed the Pharisees, He said: ‘But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for you neither go in yourselves, neither suffer you them that are entering to go in’ (Matthew 23:13). Aren’t Pastor Hong’s actions just like those of the Pharisees? I’ll never listen to him. If some brothers and sisters want to investigate Almighty God’s work, I’ll certainly preach the gospel to them.”

Pastor Li Stubbornly Resists the True Way, Like a Reenactment of the Pharisees Resisting God

One day not long after, Pastor Li asked me and my youngest daughter to go to the church. When we arrived there, five people were waiting for us, including Pastor Li, deacons and church council members. After we had only just sat down, Pastor Li, with a broad smile on his face, asked me: “Sister Mo, after such a long time, what have you decided? Do you want to come back to our church?”

I replied seriously: “Through reading Almighty God’s words, I’ve become sure that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus. He’s expressing the truth and doing His work of the last days to judge and cleanse man. Only when we accept Almighty God’s work in the last days can we completely break free from the fetters of sin and be purified, and only then will we be qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. So, we’ve decided to believe in Almighty God and won’t come back to this church.”

Hearing this, one of the deacons suddenly sprang to his feet and, pointing at me, said angrily: “So you now believe in Almighty God? From tomorrow, you are no longer permitted to teach Sunday school. Tomorrow afternoon, I’ll go to your home and take back the church’s money.”

I responded: “You can take it whenever you like.”

Just then, Pastor Li tried to ease the situation in a false way and said: “Sister Mo, by believing in the Lord Jesus, our sins are absolved and we don’t need the Lord to return to do the work of judgment and cleansing.”

I said: “The Lord Jesus was crucified upon the cross and thereby absolved us of our sins. This is a fact. However, we must realize that having our sins forgiven only means that we are not condemned by the law, but doesn’t mean that we are purified, because the Lord hasn’t absolved us of our sinful nature. Therefore, though we’ve gained the Lord Jesus’ redemption, we still cannot control ourselves from committing sins and often reveal satanic corrupt dispositions, such as arrogance, conceit, selfishness, deceitfulness, evil and greed. The Lord is holy. We, covered in filth, are simply unworthy to meet the Lord, so how are we fit to enter the kingdom of heaven? Thus, the Lord Jesus promised us He would come again in the last days and perform the work of judgment and purification in order to cleanse and change our corrupt dispositions so that we can be thoroughly purified and saved, and that in the end, He would bring those who have cast off their corrupt dispositions to the kingdom of heaven.”

Afraid that they would not understand, my daughter gave them a parable. After hearing her, Pastor Li looked at my daughter contemptuously, laughed coldly and said disdainfully: “We’ll just wait for the Lord Jesus who has nail wounds in His hands and comes with clouds to rapture us into the kingdom of heaven. We won’t accept anything, even if what Almighty God expresses is the truth.” The deacons and church council members all echoed his words: “That’s right. We’ll just wait for the Lord Jesus to come on a cloud to take us.”

Seeing how stubborn they were being, I said: “You’d better listen to Almighty God’s words before making up your minds.” I then turned on my phone and began to read this passage of God’s words: “Those who wish to gain life without relying on the truth spoken by Christ are the most ridiculous people on earth, and those who do not accept the way of life brought by Christ are lost in fantasy. And so I say that those who do not accept Christ of the last days shall forever be despised by God. Christ is man’s gateway to the kingdom during the last days, and there are none who can go around Him. None may be perfected by God except through Christ. You believe in God, and so you must accept His words and obey His way. You cannot only think of gaining blessings while being incapable of receiving the truth and incapable of accepting the provision of life. Christ comes during the last days so that all those who truly believe in Him may be provided with life. His work is for the sake of concluding the old age and entering the new one, and His work is the path that must be taken by all those who would enter the new age. If you are incapable of acknowledging Him, and instead condemn, blaspheme, or even persecute Him, then you are bound to burn for eternity and shall never enter the kingdom of God.”

Before I had even finished this paragraph, one of the church council members stood up and spoke very arrogantly: “Even I can say these things.”

Hearing that, I said angrily: “You’re so unbelievably arrogant. These words are the truth expressed by God Himself—can you not hear it? Can you understand the voice of God when you hear it? Are you God’s sheep?”

With a sinister smile, Pastor Li said: “That’s enough. Apart from the Lord Jesus, we won’t believe in anything.”

I saw that they had no desire whatsoever to seek the truth, but instead they were arrogant and conceited, stubbornly clung to their own notions and imaginings, and arbitrarily judged and resisted God’s work; their behavior was exactly the same as that of the Pharisees who had resisted the Lord Jesus. I gave up trying to talk to them and was preparing to leave with my daughter.

Just then, Pastor Li threatened us, saying: “We’ll give you one month to reconsider. If you’re still persisting in believing in Almighty God in a month’s time, I’ll expel you from our church.”

I said indignantly, “No need to wait a month. Just expel us now. We’re already certain that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, so even if you don’t expel us, we won’t be coming back to attend assemblies in this church anyway.”

Pastor Li grinned slyly, saying: “Humph! We cannot expel you now, or what will the brothers and sisters think of us? They’ll say that we expelled you just for attending some gatherings online, and that we don’t have any love at all. In a month’s time, we’ll tell the brothers and sisters in our church that you are believing in a heresy and insisted on leaving the church, and that we’ve gone to great lengths to counsel you and have given you more than enough time to reconsider, but in the end you persisted in believing in Almighty God, and only then did we have no choice but to expel you.”

Hearing the pastor say this, I felt disgusted, and I didn’t want to say one more word to them. I thought of what the Lord Jesus said when He cursed the Pharisees: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like to white washed sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity” (Matthew 23:27–28). Isn’t the behavior of Pastor Li, the deacons and the church council members like this? It turns out that their usual care for us is feigned. They disguise themselves in order to preserve their image and status before the brothers and sisters and to deceive them into listening to them. The brothers and sisters in the church are so pitiful—in their years of faith in the Lord, they have been longing to welcome the Lord’s return within their lifetime, but because of being deceived and cheated by the pastors, they may lose their chance to welcome the Lord’s return. Now I’ve finally seen clearly the true colors of the pastors as hypocrites. They are so hateful. As I thought this, I wanted even less to say anything to them. Then my daughter and I started to walk out. Just as we were leaving, Pastor Li gave us a warning: “It’s up to you whether you believe in Almighty God or not, but I won’t allow you to have any contact with the brothers and sisters in our church.”

Seeing Clearly the True Colors of the Pastors

When we left the church, my daughter said indignantly: “I’ve always thought that the pastors have served the Lord for many years and have the most understanding of the Bible, so they will definitely be able to welcome the Lord when He returns. But, little did I think that, when they hear the news of the Lord’s return, not only would they not seek or investigate it, but they would also become so arrogant and self-righteous, and deceive and block the brothers and sisters from investigating. They are no different from the Pharisees who resisted the Lord Jesus all those years ago.”

After hearing her, I thought: “Right! In the past when I saw God’s words that expose the God-resisting essence of the pastors and elders, I couldn’t entirely accept them, thinking that my pastors’ essence was not so serious as what God’s words reveal. Only today have I seen clearly their God-defying true colors. Just as Almighty God’s words reveal: ‘There are those who read the Bible in grand churches and recite it all day long, yet not one among them understands the purpose of God’s work. Not one among them is able to know God; still less can any one among them accord with God’s will. They are all worthless, vile people, each standing on high to lecture God. They willfully oppose God even as they carry His banner. Claiming faith in God, still they eat the flesh and drink the blood of man. All such people are devils that devour the soul of man, head demons that deliberately get in the way of those trying to step onto the right path, and stumbling blocks impeding those who seek God. They may appear of “sound constitution,” but how are their followers to know that they are none other than antichrists who lead people to stand against God? How are their followers to know that they are living devils dedicated to the devouring of human souls?’ Though the pastors are well-versed in the Bible and are waiting for the Lord Jesus’ return, yet when God has returned, they still stubbornly cling to religious notions and misinterpret the Bible even though they clearly see that Almighty God’s words possess authority and power, and so they not only refuse to seek and investigate, but they also spread wrong notions, fabricate various rumors, and do all they can to intimidate and stop believers from seeking and investigating Almighty God’s work of the last days. After the pastors learned that my daughters and I had accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days, they have obstructed, deceived and terrorized us time after time with the aim of forcing us to give up the true way. Also, they don’t allow us to preach the gospel to the brothers and sisters. They really are so evil! God’s words expose that they are stumbling blocks preventing people from returning to God, and that they are devils that devour people’s souls. This is absolutely true! They are the antichrists who have been exposed by God’s work of the last days and they are the modern Pharisees! Through my experiences, I’ve finally seen clearly the essence of the religious pastors and elders. Almighty God’s words have convinced me totally.” Coming to this realization, I couldn’t help but thank God for choosing me, and for using my brothers and sisters of CAG to fellowship God’s words with me so that I understood some truth. Otherwise, I would have been deceived by the pastors and wouldn’t have dared to investigate the true way. Thanks be to God for His guidance!

Later, when I bumped into some brothers and sisters from my old church who had been very close to me, they totally changed their attitude toward me—some even avoided me. This has made me feel really upset. I know that it must be Pastor Li and others who told the brothers and sisters to keep their distance from me for fear that I would spread the gospel to them. Besides, because the brothers and sisters don’t understand the truth and have no discernment of the pastors’ essence, they are deceived by the pastors. I feel it is a pity. Now I’ve gained God’s salvation and seen clearly the true colors of the pastors from the revelation of God’s words, so I should repay God’s love even more. I shall find a chance to spread the gospel to the brothers and sisters so that they can also hear God’s voice, break through the deception and control of the pastors and elders, reject them and return to God. I will comfort God’s heart this way. Amen!
