The Lord Will Surely Come Quickly. A Commentary on Revelation 22:20

Today’s Verse

He which testifies these things said, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Thoughts on Today's Verse

The Lord promised us that “I come quickly.” To welcome the second coming of Jesus Christ is the greatest hope of every believer in the Lord. We have seen the desolation of the churches in the last days and the disasters springing up all over the world. The prophecies of the second coming of Jesus Christ have basically been fulfilled. How should wise virgins welcome the Lord? The Lord said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him(Matthew 25:6). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me(Revelation 3:20). So only wise virgins can hear the voice of God, welcome Him, and be raptured before God and attend the wedding feast with the Lord. Now the Lord is knocking on our doors, so how should we recognize the voice of God and search for the footprints of God? God’s words say, “Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist(“The Appearance of God Has Ushered in a New Age”).

When we face setbacks and suffering, only God’s words can give us faith and power. Do you want to read more words of God?
