The CCP’s Lies and Killings Shaped the Tearful and Bloody History of the House Churches in China

In recent years, the CCP has persecuted the house churches in China horribly. Numerous crosses and churches have been forcibly demolished, and many pastors and preachers have been arrested and sentenced. Moreover, the CCP has spread many rumors using the media and the Internet to attack and slander Almighty God and His Church. The media and the Internet have become tools used by it to combat and persecute the Church of Almighty God. … As a matter of fact, during the over 60 years since the CCP came into power, the development of the house churches in China is a tearful and bloody history shaped by its lies and killings.

The CCP’s Lies and Killings

1. The Clauses on Freedom of Belief the CCP Has Signed Are Lies Told to Build up Its Reputation

The CCP has signed many international conventions on human rights, such as the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and so on, admitting that “Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.” Article 36 of China’s Constitution also explicitly stipulates: “Citizens of the People’s Republic of China enjoy freedom of religious belief. No State organ, public organization or individual may compel citizens to believe in, or not to believe in, any religion, nor may they discriminate against citizens who believe in, or do not believe in, any religion. The State shall protect normal religious activities.”

But in fact, since the CCP government rose to power, it has always taken a hostile and precautious attitude toward religion, and has tried to control, combat, and repress those who have religious beliefs. In 1950, the CCP government separated the Chinese Catholic Church from the Vatican, and left it under the management of the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association. From then on, all the religious activities not under its management are charged with being illegal, and the churches engaging in them are called underground churches. Meanwhile, the Chinese government set up the Three-Self Church, which practices the principles of self-government, self-support, and self-propagation. In name it asked the Christians to join the Three-Self Church, but in actuality, it tried to subject them under the control of the CCP, an atheist party.

2. Pinning Charges on Christians and Wantonly Persecuting Christianity

After the CCP came into power, numerous Western missionaries were deported from China, and some of them were even butchered by it. Most Protestant churches and Catholic churches in Mainland China were shut or torn down completely, or were forced to join the Three-Self Church. Many house churches were forcibly banned, home meetings were also strictly forbidden, and even the Bible was labeled as a cult book and forbidden to be printed. Countless Christians were imprisoned and persecuted for accepting Bibles from abroad. The pastors and preachers of the house churches of any denomination would be sentenced if they were arrested. Worse still, many of them were persecuted to death.

In September of 2004, Cai Zhuohua, a famous pastor of a house church in Beijing, was arrested secretly by the CCP government for printing the Bible at his own expense. On November 8, he was convicted of illegal business dealing by a court in Beijing, and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment and fined 150,000 RMB. Besides, 80,000 RMB and over 200,000 Bibles that the government authorities had seized were confiscated. At first this case was defined as “the largest religious infiltration case since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,” but later he was accused of illegal business dealing.

In July of 2011, Shi Enhao, a pastor of a house church in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, was sentenced to 2 years of hard labor on the charge of “preaching illegally.” Some people from the National Security Team in that city threatened his wife, children, and other family members, even including his grandson, and monitored them closely, forbidding them to speak to the media. They deprived them of their right to safeguard their legal rights by means of law, and even coerced Pastor Shi into writing a letter to his family in which he admitted that he decided of his own will to give up getting a lawyer and cancel the agreement his family had entrusted the lawyer with.

In January of 2008, when Ali Mujiang, a Uighur Christian, talked with a certain Christian from America, a good friend of his, he mentioned that the local Bureau of Religious Affairs was investigating the so-called problem of their “illegally preaching.” Unexpectedly, their conversation was recorded secretly by the CCP government. Then on the charges of “inciting the split of the country” and “illegally providing state secrets abroad,” Ali Mujiang was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of fifteen years.

The CCP not merely has wantonly arrested Christians, but it has also combated and repressed the house churches under the guise of “illegal religious buildings,” forbidden them to buy houses, or had the landlords cancel the leases on the houses they have rented, so as to obstruct them from having meetings. In Xiaoshan case of 2006, the Xiaoshan government demolished the church forcibly on the grounds of “illegal religious buildings.” In 2009, the Chengdu government brought pressure to bear on the landlords to refuse to rent houses to the churches, so that the Church Blessed With Autumn Rains was unable to rent a house and had to have meetings outdoors for nine consecutive weeks. In a religious case in Linfen in 2009, violent law enforcement against Christianity occurred, and several preachers and pastors were sentenced to imprisonment on the charge of having illegally occupied land. In 2009, a house church in Shouwang, Beijing, was forced to move out of a house and have meetings in the snow. In 2010, the church members spent 10,000,000 RMB on purchasing an estate for the church. However, the relevant department of the local authorities interfered with the land agent, so now they still haven’t received the real estate they paid money for.

3. Abusing and Killing Christians Secretly While Creating a False Impression of Allowing Freedom of Religion

In order to maintain a false impression of respecting the freedom of religious belief in the international community, in March of 2005, the CCP government started to implement the Regulations on Supervising Religious Affairs, the first comprehensive administrative regulations concerning religion, emphasizing that the religious work must be managed according to law. In October, 2005, the CCP government issued the White Paper on China’s Democracy, emphasizing that the state shall respect and protect citizens’ freedom of religious belief and ensure that the legitimate rights and interests of religious bodies, religious places, and citizens who believe in any religion are not violated in accordance with the law. In December of 2005, the official website of the State Bureau of Religious Affairs was built for the first time to publicize and exhibit the general picture of China’s religious work. In 2011, it held a Bible Exhibition in four states of the United States. … All these deceitful and hypocritical moves were for completely covering up its crimes.

In fact, as early as the May of 2004, the CCP government had issued some secret documents to the Party Committee and the Propaganda and Education Departments of each province, demanding that they strengthen the propaganda and education about Marxist Atheism, and launch extensive, multi-layer, and multi-dimensional operations to implement atheism. It combated religious beliefs under the guise of opposing feudal superstitions. Primary and secondary school students all over the country were required to sign a pledge to “oppose the cults.” The mainstream media and websites were required to open a column on Atheism. Institutions of higher learning and academies of social sciences were required to conduct atheistic education. From 2009 to 2012, in Shaanxi Province, the teachers of many primary schools asked the students in class, “Is there anyone in your family believing in God? If there is, raise your hands! Anyone who tells will be awarded by the school!” They also encouraged the students to report and expose their parents to the teachers if they found them believers in God.

These secret actions of the CCP government obviously contradict its words “We allow the freedom of religion.” It has spoken high-sounding words outwardly but has never ceased its persecution of Christianity in secret. Especially, it used more vicious and cruel means to combat, repress, and persecute the Church of Almighty God.

In order to repress and abolish the underground and house churches in China, the CCP government imposed many unwarranted charges on them and combated them. One of the charges it imposed on the Church of Almighty God was “attempting to overthrow the government,” on the pretext of which it combated and repressed the Church of Almighty God. In 1991, Almighty God incarnate appeared and began to do His work in Mainland China. He has done the work of judgment beginning with the house of God, as prophesied in the Bible, on the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ redemptive work in the Age of Grace by unlocking all the mysteries of God’s six-thousand-year management plan to mankind and expressing all the truths of purifying and saving mankind. Because of the appearance and work of Almighty God in the last days, many true believers of the Lord in every denomination finally heard God’s voice, and saw that the Lord Jesus has returned to flesh and done the work of judgment in the last days. From the work and words of Almighty God they verified that He is the returned Lord Jesus, and thus accepted His work in the last days. During the twenty-odd years of Almighty God carrying out His work in China, God’s gospel of the kingdom has been made known to every household, and millions of people have followed Almighty God. The CCP is extremely afraid of the truths expressed by God. It fears that its devilish substance of fighting against justice, upholding evil, and hating the truth, which God has revealed, will be brought to light, so that the people will be awoken and have discernment and knowledge of its building up its fame by deceiving the world and fooling the people, and thus abandon it and return to God. In order to not fall from power but rather continue riding roughshod over the people, the CCP has called numerous emergency meetings to scheme how to abolish the Church of Almighty God. It has drawn up and issued many secret documents, and tried to arrest the Christians of the Church of Almighty God all over the country on the groundless charges of “threatening social stability” and “attempting to overthrow the government,” and so on. It has given the Church of Almighty God adverse publicity using radio, television, the Internet, and other media, sent spies to investigate openly and inquire secretly, ordered monitoring by neighbors, made use of the Three-Self church to do control and surveillance, carried out arbitrary house searches and secret arrests, and taken cruel means like extortion of confessions by torture, imprisonment in labor camps, and secret killings, and so on. It has thus inflicted on them great mental and physical torments and ravages.

On December 7, 2012, Liu Qi (male, 24-year-old), a Christian in Xinmi City, Henan Province, was arrested by the CCP police when preaching the gospel. He suffered cruel tortures during his imprisonment. As a result, he had become mentally disordered and barely conscious and talked nonsense when released in December, 2015.

On December 23, 2012, Ma Kun (female, 44-year-old), a Christian in Xingyang City, Henan Province, was badly maimed by torture after being arrested by the CCP police. Her right leg now is a little longer than the left. And when she walks, her right leg cannot bend, and she has to tilt her head to the left.

On January 4, 2013, Jiang Guizhi (female, 46-year-old), a Christian in Qinghe District of Pingyu County, Henan Province, was arrested and imprisoned by the CCP police in Xinmi City, Henan Province. The police interrogated her through cruel tortures. On the early morning of February 12, Jiang was tortured to death by them.

On July 15, 2014, Gao Cuiqin (female, 53-year-old), a Christian in Suozhen Town of Huantai County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, was arrested. Two days later, the CCP police shocked her to death with the electric baton. After her death, her family saw that her shins were black and blue, her face was blue, a huge bruise was on her left rib, with the head tilted to one side and unable to be put straight….

According to preliminary statistics on the cases of the persecuted Christians the Church of Almighty God has collected in recent years, in the two short years from 2011 to 2013, 380,380 of Christians were arrested and detained by the CCP government in Mainland China. Among them, 43,640 suffered all kinds of torture while being illegally interrogated, and as documented, at least 10 were persecuted to death; 111,740 had various charges imposed on them and were illegally fined or extorted, and a calculated total is about 243,613,000 RMB; and 35,330 had their homes ransacked, and at least 1,000,000,000 RMB (including church offerings and personal property) was forcibly confiscated by the public security organs and their subordinates or pocketed by evil policemen. The CCP’s persecutions of the Church of Almighty God are so appalling and unprecedented that it has provoked God’s wrath and people’s indignation.

In 2016, an investigative report of the United States showed this: In 2016, there were 762 incidents in which the CCP government persecuted Christians in China, an increase of 20.2% over 2015; the number of those persecuted was over 48,100, increasing by 147.6% over 2015; the number of those arrested was over 3,526, rising by 11.0% over 2015; the number of those sentenced was 303, increasing by 30.6% over 2015; there were 278 incidents of maltreating Christians (beating and reviling, cruelly torturing, and ravaging them mentally or physically), an increase of 42.6% over 2015; the number of those maltreated was 785, 69.5% higher than in 2015.

4. The CCP Is in Origin a Reincarnated Evil Spirit, the Devil incarnate

Looking back on the over 60 years in which the CCP rules China, we can see that it has been unceasing its repression and persecution of those who have religious beliefs in China. Chinese Christianity has developed in a terrifying environment filled with lies and killings, and Chinese Christians have struggled to survive the bloody atrocities. Why has the CCP government spared no efforts to persecute those who have religious beliefs? And why has it hated Christians so bitterly? The only reason is that it wants to establish a godless realm in China to ensure that it will not lose state power but will rule China forever, and wants the people to treat it as God and be enslaved and controlled by it forever. Revelation 12:9 says, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” The king of devils in China is the embodiment of the old serpent spoken of in Revelation. It has drunk the blood of countless Christians and has eventually become the great red dragon. Just as God says, “The manifestations of the great red dragon are resistance to Me, lack of understanding and comprehension of the meanings of My words, frequent persecution of Me, and seeking to use schemes to interrupt My management. … The great red dragon I speak of is not a big red dragon; rather it is the evil spirit in opposition to Me, for which the ‘great red dragon’ is a synonym.” Hence, it is the reincarnated evil spirit, the devil incarnate, so it hates the truth, and has been disrupting, disturbing, and even trying to dismantle God’s work, and persecuting Christians with all its might. If any group of people believe in God or spread God’s name and work, it will impose on them the charge of “being against the CCP and the government” and will repress and persecute them with varying severity. We can say that since the CCP came into power, it has been shaping a tearful and bloody history of the house churches in China with its lies and killings. The disasters that the CCP government has brought upon all the Chinese people are unforgettable!

When you see clearly the fact that the CCP government has been persecuting those who have religious beliefs, will you still be deceived by its false front? When you see clearly the fact that the CCP has been persecuting Christians and fabricated rumors to slander and framed the Church of Almighty God, will you still believe the rumors fabricated by it? Now, Almighty God’s work of the last days has come to an end in Mainland China, and the kingdom gospel is spreading to every nation and place through the Internet with lightning speed. God’s words are spreading to the whole world, and God is seeking His lost sheep. Have you heard His voice?
