Prophecy in Matthew 24:6–8 Has Been Fulfilled: What Does This Indicate?

Today's Verse

And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Thoughts on Today's Verse…

2,000 years ago, the Lord Jesus prophesied that when He returned in the last days, there would be wars, famines, earthquakes, plagues, and other disasters. We have seen increasingly great disasters around the world in recent years and that plagues, earthquakes, floods, famines, and more have occurred frequently. Especially at the end of 2019, the novel coronavirus emerged and it has spread throughout the world, and the death toll is shocking. In addition, wars started to break out in Myanmar in 2021, and in Russia and Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The appearance of these disasters precisely fulfills the prophecies of the Lord Jesus’ return. Many devout believers realize that the Lord has returned, while some people think that the Lord is coming soon. So is the Lord coming soon, or has He returned?

Next, let’s read some words of God. God says, “The last days have arrived and countries across the world are in turmoil. There is political disarray, there are famines, pestilences, floods, and droughts appearing everywhere. There is catastrophe in the world of man; Heaven has also sent down disaster. These are signs of the last days.” “In speaking of the last days, this refers to a separate age, one in which Jesus said you will surely encounter disaster, and encounter earthquakes, famines, and plagues, which will show that this is a new age, and is no longer the old Age of Grace.

From God’s words, we can see that the appearance of these disasters indicates that the Lord has already returned, ending the Age of Grace and opening a new age. Today, many people are testifying that the Lord has long since returned, expressed the truth, and carried out the work of saving mankind, so that we can be free from sin, become cleansed, survive disasters, and enter the kingdom of God. Through seeking and investigating God’s work in the last days, many people who sincerely long for God’s appearance have recognized God’s voice, seen His appearance, and welcomed the Lord’s return.

Now, we should quickly seek God’s appearance and work to welcome the Lord’s return. Only by doing so can we have the opportunity to obtain God’s salvation and be protected by God in the midst of disasters.
